Samsung introduces Galaxy Golden, an Android OS based smartphone featuring a clamshell design. This device was originally launched in China and India, by targeting the entry level segment.
Golden Galaxy 2 is a major upgrade from the previous model in all aspects. For example, this clamshell phone has a screen size of 4.6 inches is much larger, has a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports WXGA resolution (1280 x 768 pixels).
In addition, Golden Galaxy 2 is equipped with a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a clock speed of 2.5GHz, Adreno GPU graphics processing unit 330 and 2GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Golden 2 has two micro SIM slot. One slot for GSM and one for CDMA possibilities. Golden Galaxy 2 has the ability to read the GSM and CDMA networks.
At the back of the flip phone, there is a camera with an impressive 16MP resolution, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording 4K. There is also a 2MP camera on the front, which can be used for video calls and take pictures selfies.
